We live in a society that teaches us to rely on external sources to solve our problems, rather than trust our own intuition and each other. But we all have an inner wisdom that works as a spiritual principle for navigating life in an interdependent world. When we trust and connect to it, it can guide us to solve community and organizational problems in ways that make us and others more whole. In this three-session workshop, you’ll learn to use inner wisdom as an anchor in your own daily life and to apply it toward building a world where our needs for love, recognition, and community are as important as our needs for food and housing.

Teacher-Facilitators:

Matt Birkhold is a nationally sought after teacher and facilitator with over twenty years experience as an educator and an organizer. Around 2008 he began to explore connections between personal transformation and social transformation and began to do deep healing work to heal from his childhood. His combined commitment to personal healing and social transformation showed him the importance of connecting to and trusting his inner wisdom and the inner wisdom of others. He and Angela Kim are writing a book on Visionary Organizing Exist Differently: Visionary Organizing to Create an Age of Repair.

Angela Kim is a teacher-facilitator working towards a world where we have increased capacities to open our hearts and sit with our own and each other’s complexities. Angela has been working on ancestral healing individually and in community for two years, especially around the grief of separation, displacement, and colonization. Rooted in their own healing, Angela stewards community containers where participants can share grief, practice conflict skills, and be co-opted into emergence inspired by the intuitive, the divine, the other-than-human.
