Connect Differently: An Introduction to Visionary Organizing for Students - Visionary Organizing is an approach to change that equally emphasizes our material and nonmaterial or spiritual needs. In this workshop students will be introduced to Visionary Organizing as a framework for community and social transformation. This workshop introduces students to what existing differently looks like and introduces them to a way thinking and practices that they can experiment with to begin equally emphasizing their material and non-material needs.

Knowledge of the difference between material and nonmaterial needs and why we’ve collectively prioritized material needs and neglected non material needs
Knowledge of why we seem paralyzed to do anything in the face of climate change, poverty, and violence of all kinds
Knowledge of the six components of Visionary Organizing for a hopeful future and an ability to identify them.
